Still Here, Still Serving, Still Thankful

I keep saying that I'm going to be better at posting on this blog, and life keeps getting in the way, and I don't post for several months. Even so, for anyone reading and following, please know that after just over six years, our Form 990 remains up-to-date, maintaining our 501(c)(3) status, and we are still very active in our community outreach initiatives, including working our monthly food ministry, for which I am planning our December meal as I write this, and collecting clothing and personal hygiene donations year round, to distribute directly into the hands of those who need it, with the help of great groups like Hip Hop Cares, led by Jeff Gill and a team of wonderful human beings here in Louisville, KY.
Please consider donating to this group, and/or serving with them. An excellent opportunity presents itself every Sunday morning, from about 10:30am until noon, when volunteers serve a hot meal and provide other items of necessity to a population of dozens, if not hundreds of our fellow humans, at the underpass at 1st and Broadway, right near the Taco Bell in Downtown Louisville. 
Jeff and his team also do nightly outreach, serving countless unhoused folks in various locations across the city, and Jeff welcomes anyone who can make time to join in this ongoing effort.
Please remember that if you are unable to contribute directly to street outreach, please reach out to any of us here on the 2 and 2 team. We are happy to accept your donations, arrange pickup, and get them to the folks who need them, and also provide you with a donation form for your tax purposes.
