Starting 2023 - Community Outreach with Other Servant Leaders

Our Louisville Chapter of 2 & 2 is starting 2023 by continuing to serve our monthly lunch meal to guests at Re:Center Ministries, but also starting to spend some time on the ground, in coordination and cooperation with other outreach groups (I hope that I will get better at remembering everyone’s names soon!), including The Forgotten Louisville, Jacob’s Ladder, and a long-serving outreach organization, Hip Hop Cares. 2 & 2’s first outreach participation pf 2023 included volunteering with these wonderful people who started at 5pm, and they were still making stops around the city well after 9pm. Thanks to these God-sent volunteers, we were blessed to make multiple stops, sharing hot soup, hot cocoa, sack lunches, hot coffee, with cream and sugar, snack bags, hygiene kits, and various sustenance items, including batteries, blankets, clothing and more.
My hope is that 2 & 2 will be able to continue to participate regularly, at least twice a month with the street outreach teams, and to post a list of requested items, for any who may want to bless us with a donation to continue this most important work. Here are some items that were requested during last night’s outreach, if you are inclined to donate.
